Life on a yacht - to be or not to be?
Nearest travel:
After all, this question is most often asked by those who wish to discover a new and wonderful world of yachting. Today we will answer this question!
Of course, looking at the yacht from the side, it is easy to imagine only the Spartan living conditions on board. This is an exceptionally normal reaction of the body - the eyes transmit a signal about what they have seen, the brain analyzes the size, volume and comes to the conclusion that it can hardly be comfortable in “imaginary space”.
All wrong. And that's why.
When the eyes transmitted information to the brain, they “forgot” to add a part that was invisible under the water - this is the first reason for involuntary lowering of the jaw of anyone who first descended into the living room of a floating apartment. Inside, it is much larger than it seems from the outside — like tents in Harry Potter or the Tardis from Doctor Who. Well, maybe not so much, but you catch the essence.
The second reason for the sagging jaw, of course, is that modern yachts are beautifully designed, and in the existing space everything is done with the expectation of comfort: toilets, showers, bedrooms, kitchen, hall - all this is found right on board almost any snow-white beauty. In all places there are shelves, cabinets, niches, drawers.
Of course, this is not a huge treshka with panoramic windows, but inside the yacht is a little inferior to many apartments in large metropolitan areas. Let's take an example of one of the popular sailing yachts - Sun Odyssey 519. An excellent boat is not top-end, but also not weaving in the tail. These are often used to slowly travel from island to island in the Mediterranean area, and not only.
Our experimental yacht, depending on the configuration, can be with three, four or five cabins. In addition, all of them are separated from each other by partitions so that each cabin will have plenty of storage space, a toilet with a shower and a washbasin, as well as a large double bed. That is, only a bedroom on a boat can be from three to five - impressive, right?
Cabins company with a large table, sofas, air conditioning and a rich variety of lockers completely organically combined into one space with the kitchen. Rather, it is not divided by a partition. There are several windows-portholes, and behind the walls and pillows on the sofas there are still niches for storing things.
The kitchen is also able to surprise: oven, hobs, sink, table, cupboards and food, a refrigerator, ice maker, watermaker, microwave, toaster - the list can be very long. By the way, the gas stove, thanks to the stabilization system, does not swing with the boat if a wave comes to the board. Very useful and necessary thing - you can prepare breakfast before leaving the marina and not pay attention to the boats scurrying outside.
Even inside the yacht there is a separate area where no one can, except the captain. He has a lot of buttons, light bulbs, navigation equipment, a walkie-talkie and a table on which you should not put a cup of tea or a plate of oatmeal on for five seconds. The chart table is holy. It is placed close to the ramp so that the captain can easily contact the helmsman outside, there he paves the route, keeps a logbook and is busy with a whole bunch of important and responsible matters.
By nightfall, the messroom is transforming: the dining room, with the help of a few simple manipulations, turns into ... another huge bedroom - a bed, a little smaller than Belgium, will not leave indifferent even the most boring skeptic.
Everything is provided and in case of bad weather - having closed the entrance, you can calmly wait inside for rain or cold. The trend of shipbuilding shipyards, expressed in combining large internal volumes with ease of operation, is also encouraging - this is not just a house afloat, but also an excellent yacht. Excellent rulitsya, gorgeous life. That is how it should be. Travel, friends, and do not forget to make your dreams come true.
