Italy is a country that is known to the whole world for its unique culture, ancient history and picturesque nature. And this is just a small part of what Italy can surprise its travelers. Here, each region of the country is individual, you can fully enjoy them by going sailing in Italy. The barely perceptible spirit of ancient culture, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance still hovers in this country. Italy is a dream country, in which a huge number of sailors from all over the world come.

Going on holiday on a yacht in Italy, you will have a wide choice of routes, both in the North and in the southern part of the country. Northern Italy attracts tourists with the majestic and picturesque Alps, the castles of the Middle Ages, the capital of world fashion - Milan and the real hallmark of the country - Venice. Visiting at least a part of these parts of Italy on a sea cruise, you can get a lot of bright emotions.

Sailing in Italy is no less interesting in the southern regions, where Emilia-Romagna is located - the richest region and culinary capital of the country. It is in this region that traditional Italian cuisine such as ravioli, lasagna, bolognese and other delicacies that are known all over the world take their origin. Southern cities are characterized by a single product. In particular, Parma produces Parmesan, Modena - sauces. But the cultural holiday in Italy remains the most saturated and is presented at once by several cities. Connoisseurs of the Middle Ages should visit Ferrara, those who prefer the Byzantine culture - Modena, Piacenza or Bologna. Here and to this day preserved ancient, striking architecture with its magnificence.
Yachting in Italy will give you the opportunity to travel on the Adriatic Sea, while visiting the golden coast of Emilia-Romagna.

Separately, it should be said about the pearl of the cultural heritage of Italy - Tuscany and its capital Florence. Many tourists choose to rest on a yacht in Italy in order to admire the fabulously beautiful landscapes of Tuscany, try ecotourism and join the rich culture of this region.

It does not leave indifferent any traveler and the Eternal City - Rome, and Naples, and the wonderful Apulia and the legendary Calabria.
However, interesting and attractive for those who choose yachting in Italy, is not only the coast, but also unique islands, the most famous in the whole world is Sicily and Sardinia. And, of course, Italy is famous for its magnificent volcanoes, many of which are currently in an active state. In particular, Vesuvius and Etna. In addition, a vacation on a yacht in Italy will allow you not only to see unique in nature phenomena associated with the actions of volcanoes, but also to improve your body through healing mud or thermal springs.

As for the time of year in which it is optimal to go sailing in Italy, everything depends on the region where you are planning a trip. In particular, the Gulf of Naples is advisable to explore in the spring, because in the summer in this region is too hot. It is in this part of the country that the world-famous menacing volcano Vesuvius is located. The key point of the route along the Gulf of Naples is the island of Ischia, which is considered to be a paradise for lovers of SPA-rest. Ischia will pleasantly surprise its tourists with unusual relief, since its structure most of it is Mount Epomeo of volcanic origin. In addition, it is on this island that the Giardini Ravino Botanical Garden is located, which is famous for its unique species of cacti and succulents. And, of course, medieval designs are considered to be a true symbol of the island: Herver’s Tower and Castello Aragonese.

However, choosing a vacation on a yacht in Italy in the spring, you should be prepared for a significant influx of yachtsmen and not rely on privacy. Among the attractions of the Gulf of Naples should also be noted Amalfi coast, which is fascinating for its rocky terrain.
No less attractive will be the sea routes in Sicily, which include a trip to such islands as Vulcano or Stromboli, which will amaze you with their old fortresses or restaurants in the rocks. However, the active gems of this route will be active volcanoes, which can be seen directly while on a yacht.

The less explored route that sailing in Italy offers is the Ligurian coast. Going on a trip to it, you can admire and visit the most beautiful cities: Florence, Pisa, Portofino and Genoa.

Cost of yachting in Italy will be acceptable, which will have a significant impact on the date of the planned holiday, the size of the rented yacht and the chosen route. However, regardless of the yacht chosen by you and the route, you will permanently remember the beauties you have seen and will strive to get to Italy again. This is explained quite simply. After all, choosing a vacation on a yacht in Italy, few people suspect that the water area of the country consists of about 80 islands, which in their picturesqueness have no equal. And all of them can not only be seen, but also visited by choosing yachting in Italy.

Unique in its design will be the city located on 17 islands - Venice with its numerous water channels, unique culture and ancient architecture.

The Aeolian Islands, which differ from each other not only in nature, but also in climate, and even culture, are not inferior to the rest of the islands in beauty. On the islands of Italy you can not only relax on the sandy beaches, swim in the cleanest waters of the five seas, but also come in contact with the unique local flavor. Among the Aeolian Islands, Panarea is considered the most attractive - the smallest island with a population of only 200 people. However, it is on it that celebrities like to relax. A feature of this island is the absence of cars on it, all residents move with the help of bicycles or golf cars, and tourists also have to do it. This island attracts the opportunity to stay in a quiet private atmosphere, enjoy the unhurried pace of life.

No matter which route you choose, yachting in Italy will give you not only a lot of positive emotions, but also give vivid memories of the beauties and sights visited.

Check in Turkey

My husband and I visited many previously unknown places in Turkey, as these locations are unreachable for an ordinary tourist vacationing as part of a package tour!

Denis Vladimirov,

Check in Greece

Will I go on a yacht again? Yes, definitely! It is unlikely that it will be Greece again, but only because other islands and countries are already beckoning me. I just got back from my first yacht tour, but I'm already looking forward to the next one

On the islands of Greece

with “Check in Sea” 03-11.07.2021

A week ago, for the first time in my life, I stepped onto the gangway of a yacht. I boarded her as a "passenger", but as soon as the yacht left the marina, and, without noticing for me, my transformation from a "passenger" into a "crew member" began. I think that the same thing happened with other members of our team.

Since all of us who were on board were different people, not familiar with each other, each with their own individual experience, employed in various industries, the first couple of days there was an adaptation or, in other words, “grinding”. Everyone was polite, sociable, but there was some stiffness and alertness. As we moved along the route, we studied and got to know each other closer, and already on the second or third day there was not a trace of these feelings left. This was facilitated not only by the competent leadership of the captain and the fact that each of the crew members turned out to be a wonderful and sociable person, but also by the superbly selected sequence of locations and impressions that we received on them. It was so much fun that we couldn't help but share our emotions with each other! It brought us closer.

So, while crossing the islands, walking along the picturesque embankments of various cities, having dinner in a restaurant, evening gatherings with a guitar and a bottle of dry wine, riding ATVs, swimming in bays and “bungee riding” on the high seas, almost imperceptibly - a week has flown by.

In addition to the impressions, I want to note the quality of food on board - it is beyond praise. Separately, I want to thank our stewardess Bogdana and captain Dmitry for this - guys, thank you very much!

Do I know what yachting is? No, I don't have enough experience - it was my first outing. I know only one thing - it was a “door” through which I looked into this world, where the “magic” of impressions and rather “close” communication of different people produces a value of a higher order than the money spent. For this, many thanks to you guys, “by chance”, who ended up on board with me. Thank you - Sergey, Olya, Alena, Julia, Igor, Slava, Valeria, Bogdana, my wife Tatyana. Special thanks to the company "Check in Sea" and its Skipper - Dima.

Will I go on a yacht again? Yes, definitely! It is unlikely that it will be Greece again, but only because other islands and countries are already beckoning me. I have just returned from my first yacht tour, but already I can't wait to look beyond the line where the water surface and the sky converge - after all, behind it are the Caribbean, Italy, Norway, Seychelles .... Mmmm, any of these names paints my imagination in bright colors and now I know for sure that, thanks to yachting, I will see them from an unusual angle and - I will not be disappointed!

Seven feet under the keel!
